As a 4th generation family business with deep roots in the Tirunelveli community, Krishna Mines Group has always believed that a company's success must translate into societal well-being. Our CSR activities go far beyond statutory requirements.

We invest over ₹2 Crore annually in CSR activities across education, healthcare, rural infrastructure, women empowerment, environmental conservation, and disaster relief — creating measurable, lasting impact in 15+ villages around our operations.

Our CSR Focus Areas

Our CSR strategy is aligned with national development priorities and local community needs, focusing on six core areas.

Education

Scholarships, school infrastructure, digital literacy

Supporting education of underprivileged children through scholarships, school building renovation, donation of computers and study materials, and after-school coaching centers in 8 government schools.

Healthcare

Medical camps, health awareness, sanitation

Free medical camps covering 5,000+ patients annually, health awareness programs on maternal health, nutrition, and preventive care, and construction of sanitation facilities in schools and public places.

Water & Sanitation

Borewells, pipelines, water purification

Installation of 15+ borewells, drinking water pipelines, and RO water purification plants in water-scarce villages. Construction of individual household toilets under Swachh Bharat Mission.

Rural Infrastructure

Roads, drainage, community halls

Construction and repair of 25+ km of concrete village roads, storm water drains, community multipurpose halls, and street lighting using solar panels in 10 villages.

Women Empowerment

SHGs, vocational training, micro-finance

Formation and handholding of 40+ SHGs with 600+ women members. Vocational training in tailoring, food processing, and handicrafts. Linkage with NABARD and government micro-finance schemes.

Environment

Tree planting, waste management, clean energy

Plantation of 50,000+ saplings since 2010. Solid waste management programs in mining villages. Support for household solar lights in off-grid areas through a subsidized distribution scheme.
